AREAS AFFECTED: South Central Siskiyou County; North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County; Northeast Siskiyou and Northwest Modoc Counties; Modoc County; Klamath Basin; Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County; Central and Eastern Lake County
DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...High temperatures of 95 to 100 are expected. Low temperatures will be mainly in the mid to upper 50s. * WHERE...Lake County and eastern Klamath County, South Central Siskiyou County, North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County, Northeast Siskiyou and Northwest Modoc Counties, Modoc County, and Klamath Basin. This includes Klamath Falls, Lakeview, Mount Shasta, and Alturas. * WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 8 PM PDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will likely only be a couple to a few degrees cooler on Tuesday and Wednesday.
INSTRUCTION: Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
