DESCRIPTION: FFWSJT The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Northern Kimble County in west central Texas... Southern McCulloch County in west central Texas... Mason County in west central Texas... Southeastern Menard County in west central Texas... * Until 1130 AM CDT. * At 904 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.25 to 2.5 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Brady, Junction, Mason, Saline, Long Mountain, London, Hext, Streeter, Yates Crossing, Grit, Calf Creek, Camp Air, Katemcy, Camp San Saba, Art, Voca, Fredonia, Roosevelt, Pontotoc and Us-377 Near The Kimble-Menard County Line. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 434 and 457.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
