DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Ohio... Stillwater Creek At Uhrichsville affecting Tuscarawas County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stillwater Creek at Uhrichsville. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Stillwater Creek comes out of its banks in several locations resulting in overflowing in poor drainage areas. Minor flooding of low lying areas begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM EDT Saturday was 11.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 8.6 feet early Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

A nimbostratus cloud is similar to a stratus cloud in its formless,
smooth appearance. However, a nimbostratus cloud is darker than a stratus cloud,
because it is thicker.
Unlike a stratus cloud, a nimbostratus cloud typically brings with it the threat
of moderate to heavy precipitation. In some cases, the precipitation may evaporate
before reaching the ground, a phenomenon known as virga.

Precipitation in the form of water droplets is called rain.

an observable effect on rainfall, due to an effect called the urban heat island.
Compared to upwind, monthly rainfall between twenty and forty miles downwind of
cities is 30% greater.
