Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 5 at 7:59PM CDT until July 5 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX
AREAS AFFECTED: Dallam, TX; Hartley, TX
DESCRIPTION: At 757 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southwest of Ware, or 16 miles west of Dalhart, moving southeast at 20 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR WESTERN DALLAM AND HARTLEY COUNTY HAZARD...90 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and businesses will have substantial roof and window damage. Expect extensive tree damage and power outages. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Dallam and northwestern Hartley Counties.
INSTRUCTION: For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
